This summer Stig went on a fact finding tour of hop farms in Slovenia.

As you can imagine it was very hard work as the final product had to be tested!!!

Step 1: Inspecting the hop crop

Step 2: Ensuring all the hop cones have been processed properly
before being sent to the hop kiln for drying

Step 3 : Reaping the rewards!!

We are participating in the Warminster Art Society's "Go Bustards!" Project where almost ostrich size fiberglass bustards have been created.

Anna Marie, who - apart from taking care of the office and accounts - has a university degree in Fine Art has painted "Dratsub" who symbolizes the Wiltshire Flag. He is a joint venture between The Organ Inn in Warminster and us and he went along with all the other colourful bustards to greet the Queen at Salisbury Cathedral on the 1st May.

"Dratsub" is going to live at The Organ Inn in Warminster where you can go and meet him over a pint of Great Bustard or another pint of equally excellently kept and served beer.

We are proud to announce that our Great Bustard in bottles has been awarded a Bronze medal on the 8th of March at the 2012 SIBA National Beer Competition after having won Gold at the SIBA South West Regional Beer Competion in 2011
